Bloody Mary Day is celebrated on January 1 every year. It is mainly celebrated
by those who partied way too much for the New Year's the night before. Bloody
Mary is a hangover cocktail that is essentially made up of ingredients like
vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire, cayenne and salt. This
cocktail helps cure huge hangovers but comes with a price, that is, consumption
of more than enough Bloody Mary can cause dehydration. Originally, the cocktail
was created by a bartender named Fernand Petiot in a bar in Paris. Originally,
the cocktail was given two names: Red Snapper and Bucket Of Blood!

How can we celebrate Bloody Mary's day?
The
best way to celebrate the bloody Mary Day is to call some friends to your place
and have two or three bloody Mary drink, depending upon your friends had tried
it earlier. It doesn't taste that good but it is one of the most famous drinks
available in this world. Mixing tomatoes and other things with vodka doesn't

Some
attribute the name to notorious Queen Mary Tudor who executed hundreds of
Protestants in the name of Catholicism during her short five-year reign from
1553 to 1558. Others claim Petiot's girlfriend of the same name receives the
credit.
Invention of the drink - theories
There
are three versions of the story about who made the bloody Mary drink and where
it was made. The first one is about Fernand Petiot, a bartender, who was
originally from France claimed to have invented this peculiar and interesting
drinking in 1921 when he was working at Harry's new york bar in Paris that was
famous with many American residents living in Paris at that time. Second,
Veterinarian-turned-writer James Rollins, claims that bloody Mary drink was
invented in the Hemingway Bar at the Ritz Paris. And finally, the third one is
from New York named New York's 21 clubs. This club claims of inventing the
bloody Mary drink and they also say that it was first made there and it spread
from there to other parts of the world. They have two versions of the story,
one is that it was invented in the 1930s by a bartender named Henry Zbikiewicz
and the other is that it was invented by comedian George Jessel, who visited
the New York's 21 clubs very frequently.

Bloody Mary's include a variety of ingredients from pickles, olives and celery
to bacon, horseradish, tobacco and peppers. Also, the Bloody Mary Day can be

the origin of the day is still vague and does not appear anywhere on the great
pit of the Internet.
